E-polylock

The E-polylock, is an extruded HDPE strip product with a cross-section of E-type, which is suitable for firmly anchoring in the concrete.

The geolock is made from the same polyethylene material as Geomembranes. Its welding surface is exposed to the outside, so that the hdpe lining can be welded on its exposed smooth surface, thus connecting the geomembranes and the concrete.

The standard length of the E-lock is 3.0M, with strong chemical resistance, and three anchoring claws. Therefore, it provides the high-strength anchoring of the waterproofing membrane to the concrete. To achieve the good anchoring effect, the geolock is a widely used economical product in connection with concrete in various impermeable geomembrane projects.

How to Join E-polylock with Geomembrane?

E-polylock or Geolock is a material used for connecting geomembranes, and by following the proper installation process, you can ensure a strong and sealed connection, enhancing the performance and durability of the geomembrane system. There are several steps on how to join E-polylock with Geomembranes.

1)Preparation: Ensure that the surfaces of both the E-polylock and geomembrane are clean, free from dust, dirt, or impurities. This will help achieve a secure and tight connection.

2)Positioning the Geomembrane: Place the geomembrane in the desired location and ensure proper alignment. Smooth out any wrinkles or folds on the geomembrane to ensure accurate positioning.

3)Unrolling the E-polylock: Unroll the E-polylock material along the edge of the geomembrane where the connection is required. Ensure that the E-polylock is aligned and positioned correctly with the edge of the geomembrane.

4)Securing the E-polylock: Use mechanical fasteners such as screws or nails to secure the E-polylock in place along the edge of the geomembrane. The fasteners should be placed at regular intervals to ensure a secure attachment.

5)Applying Adhesive: Apply a suitable adhesive or bonding agent to the surface of the geomembrane within the E-polylock channel.

6)Inserting the Geomembrane: Gently insert the edge of the geomembrane into the E-polylock channel, ensuring it is fully seated and in contact with the adhesive. Apply pressure along the length of the joint to ensure a proper bond.
